Il BuildSiteMap metodo è il membro astratto della StaticSiteMapProvider classe. Il BuildSiteMap metodo viene chiamato per caricare e compilare il nodo della mappa del sito dall'archiviazione persistente. Quando si implementa il BuildSiteMap metodo, assicurarsi che sia thread-safe, perché più richieste di pagina simultanee possono causare indirettamente più chiamate per caricare le informazioni sulla mappa del sito.

Quando si esegue l'override del BuildSiteMap() metodo in una classe derivata, assicurarsi di normalizzare gli URL degli SiteMapNode oggetti aggiunti al provider di mappe del sito, in modo che il FindSiteMapNode(String) metodo possa recuperare un nodo della mappa del sito indipendentemente dal fatto che l'URL per il nodo della mappa del sito venga fornito come percorso virtuale assoluto o percorso relativo dell'applicazione. Gli implementatori del provider di mappe del sito che usano il AddNode metodo devono normalizzare gli URL prima di archiviare SiteMapNode gli oggetti nelle tabelle hash interne per conto del provider della mappa del sito.
Il comportamento di ritaglio della sicurezza è incluso nelle implementazioni e StaticSiteMapProvider della SiteMapProvider classe.
