Utilizzare la AffectedRows proprietà per determinare il numero di record interessati dall'operazione di inserimento. Questa proprietà viene comunemente usata per verificare che il numero corretto di record sia stato inserito nelle situazioni seguenti:
Verificare che sia stato inserito solo un singolo record. A volte un'istruzione di inserimento scritta in modo non corretto può inserire più record.
Verificare che un record sia stato inserito quando si verifica un errore durante l'operazione di inserimento che non genera un'eccezione.
Verificare che un record sia stato inserito quando un controllo origine dati che supporta il rilevamento dei conflitti (concorrenza ottimistica), ad esempio i SqlDataSource controlli e ObjectDataSource , ha la relativa ConflictDetection proprietà impostata sul
ConflictOptions.CompareAllValuesvalore di enumerazione. In questa impostazione, un record con lo stesso valore della chiave di un record da parte di un altro utente potrebbe non essere inserito simultaneamente.
