Utilizzare la OldValues proprietà per accedere ai valori di campo non chiave originali per il record aggiornato. Ad esempio, è possibile usare questi valori per mantenere un log di record aggiornati. Controllo origine dati che supporta il rilevamento dei conflitti (controllo della concorrenza ottimistica), ad esempio i SqlDataSource controlli e ObjectDataSource , con la relativa ConflictDetection proprietà impostata ConflictOptions.CompareAllValues su , confronta anche questi valori originali con il record nel database prima dell'esecuzione di un'operazione di aggiornamento. Se un record è stato modificato da un altro utente contemporaneamente, il record non viene aggiornato.

La OldValues proprietà non contiene campi chiave. Se si consente all'utente di aggiornare i valori dei campi chiave, i valori dei campi chiave originali vengono archiviati nella Keys proprietà . I valori aggiornati vengono archiviati nella NewValues proprietà .
La NewValues proprietà restituisce un OrderedDictionary oggetto che implementa l'interfaccia System.Collections.Specialized.IOrderedDictionary .
