Utilizzare la AffectedRows proprietà per determinare il numero di record interessati dall'operazione di eliminazione. Questa proprietà viene in genere usata per verificare che il numero corretto di record sia stato eliminato nelle situazioni seguenti:
Verificare che sia stato eliminato solo un singolo record. A volte un'istruzione delete scritta in modo non corretto può eliminare più record.
Verificare che un record sia stato eliminato quando si verifica un errore durante l'operazione di eliminazione che non genera un'eccezione.
Verificare che un record sia stato eliminato quando un controllo origine dati che supporta la concorrenza ottimistica (ad esempio i SqlDataSource controlli e ObjectDataSource ) ha la relativa ConflictDetection proprietà impostata sul valore di
ConflictOptions.CompareAllValues
enumerazione. In questa impostazione, un record modificato da un altro utente contemporaneamente potrebbe non essere eliminato.
