Eccezioni

Si è verificato un errore nell'origine dati. Il gestore per l'evento DataError non esiste oppure la proprietà ThrowException del gestore è impostata su true. In genere è possibile eseguire il cast dell'oggetto eccezione al tipo FormatException.

La DataGridView classe supporta il modello di data binding Windows Forms standard. Ciò significa che l'origine dati può essere di qualsiasi tipo che implementa una delle interfacce seguenti:

In genere, si esegue il binding a un BindingSource componente e si associa il BindingSource componente a un'altra origine dati o lo si popola con oggetti business. Il BindingSource componente è l'origine dati preferita perché può essere associata a un'ampia gamma di origini dati e può risolvere automaticamente molti problemi di data binding.

Quando si esegue il binding a un'origine dati contenente più elenchi o tabelle, è necessario impostare la proprietà su una stringa che specifica l'elenco o la tabella a cui eseguire l'associazione DataMember . Quando si esegue l'associazione a un BindingSource componente che contiene più elenchi o tabelle, è tuttavia possibile impostare la DataMember proprietà del BindingSource componente.

Quando si esegue il binding a una raccolta di oggetti anziché ai dati del database, in genere si imposterà la DataSourceNullValue proprietà dell'oggetto restituito dalla DefaultCellStyle proprietà su null anziché il valore predefinito di DBNull.Value, appropriato per i dati del database.
