Run your Teams app
To test your app, Teams Toolkit for Visual Studio Code requires a Microsoft 365 administrator account that has access to Microsoft Teams. You can use your existing account or create a free test account by joining the Microsoft 365 Developer Program.
After you have the Microsoft 365 work or school account, you need to sign in with your account inside Teams Toolkit. Then, you can run your app. Teams Toolkit will upload the app to Teams for local testing by using your Microsoft 365 work or school account.
In the next exercise, you'll sign in to a Microsoft 365 account on Teams Toolkit, start debugging your app locally, and preview the sample app on Teams.
