RDS CALインストール時に「クライアントライセンスキーパックはこのライセンスサーバーに既にインストールされています。」というエラーが発生した。

下記の質問と同じタイミングで発生した事象になります。

上記質問内容の通りRDS CALのライセンスキーパックIDを取得後、RDライセンスマネージャでRDS CALのインストールを実施したところ、「クライアントライセンスキーパックはこのライセンスサーバーに既にインストールされています。」というエラーが発生いたしました。

以前使用していたライセンスは削除済みで、このエラーが発生する前に当該ライセンスキーパックIDは使用していません。(初回の試行で発生したメッセージです。)

その後、少し時間をおいて再試行したところ、問題なくRDS CALのインストールに成功しました。

上記の別途起票した質問内容との関連性は不明です。

このエラーが発生した原因、および、問題がないのかが知りたいです。

Hello.

I understand that during the installation process, you encountered the error message: "Client license key package installed on this license server," even though it was confirmed that the old license had been removed. The new CAL key package was successfully installed after another attempt.

This could be a license server cache issue. Sometimes the license manager database caches old license information, causing conflicts when installing new licenses. Multiple refreshes and re-entries of the license key package may have helped clear this cached data.

You can also use the slmgr.vbs /dlv command to check the license status and make sure there are no duplicate license key packages.
