There is currently no standard or reliable way for website owners to disable or block the Windows 11 Recall feature from capturing rendered content. Since Recall operates at the OS level after the browser has processed and displayed content, HTML, JavaScript, or HTTP headers cannot prevent it from taking screenshots. Website owners concerned about unauthorized screen capture should advocate for Microsoft to implement a protected content opt-out API and may consider watermarking or DRM in apps for highly sensitive material.
