Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the user can edit values in the DataGrid.
public:
property bool IsReadOnly { bool get(); void set(bool value); };
public bool IsReadOnly { get; set; }
member this.IsReadOnly : bool with get, set
Public Property IsReadOnly As Boolean
Property Value
true
if the rows and cells are read-only; otherwise, false
. The registered default is false
. For more information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.
Remarks
Set the IsReadOnly property to true
to make all the cells in the DataGrid read-only. To make individual columns or cells read-only, set the DataGridColumn.IsReadOnly or DataGridCell.IsReadOnly properties. If a conflict exists between the settings at the DataGrid, column, or cell levels, a value of true
takes precedence over a value of false
.
If this property is set to true
while the control is in editing mode, all pending edits are discarded.
