Returns a value that describes the intersection between the geometry and the specified geometry.
Overloads
FillContainsWithDetail(Geometry) |
Returns a value that describes the intersection between the current geometry and the specified geometry. |
FillContainsWithDetail(Geometry, Double, ToleranceType) |
Returns a value that describes the intersection between the current geometry and the specified geometry, given the specified margin of error. |
FillContainsWithDetail(Geometry)
Returns a value that describes the intersection between the current geometry and the specified geometry.
public:
System::Windows::Media::IntersectionDetail FillContainsWithDetail(System::Windows::Media::Geometry ^ geometry);
public System.Windows.Media.IntersectionDetail FillContainsWithDetail (System.Windows.Media.Geometry geometry);
member this.FillContainsWithDetail : System.Windows.Media.Geometry -> System.Windows.Media.IntersectionDetail
Public Function FillContainsWithDetail (geometry As Geometry) As IntersectionDetail
Parameters
- geometry
- Geometry
The geometry to test for containment.
Returns
One of the enumeration values.
Remarks
The default tolerance factor (defined by the StandardFlatteningTolerance property) is used when determining whether the current geometry contains the specified geometry. To specify your own tolerance factor, use the FillContainsWithDetail method.
Some Geometry methods (such as FillContainsWithDetail) produce or use a polygonal approximation of the geometry. The tolerance factor specifies the maximum distance between points in this polygonal approximation. Smaller tolerance values produce better approximations, but require more processing than an approximation with a large tolerance factor.
Applies to
FillContainsWithDetail(Geometry, Double, ToleranceType)
Returns a value that describes the intersection between the current geometry and the specified geometry, given the specified margin of error.
public:
virtual System::Windows::Media::IntersectionDetail FillContainsWithDetail(System::Windows::Media::Geometry ^ geometry, double tolerance, System::Windows::Media::ToleranceType type);
public virtual System.Windows.Media.IntersectionDetail FillContainsWithDetail (System.Windows.Media.Geometry geometry, double tolerance, System.Windows.Media.ToleranceType type);
abstract member FillContainsWithDetail : System.Windows.Media.Geometry * double * System.Windows.Media.ToleranceType -> System.Windows.Media.IntersectionDetail
override this.FillContainsWithDetail : System.Windows.Media.Geometry * double * System.Windows.Media.ToleranceType -> System.Windows.Media.IntersectionDetail
Public Overridable Function FillContainsWithDetail (geometry As Geometry, tolerance As Double, type As ToleranceType) As IntersectionDetail
Parameters
- geometry
- Geometry
The geometry to test for containment.
- tolerance
- Double
The maximum bounds on the distance between points in the polygonal approximation of the geometries. Smaller values produce more accurate results but cause slower execution. If tolerance
is less than .000001, .000001 is used instead.
- type
- ToleranceType
One of the ToleranceType values that specifies whether the tolerance factor is an absolute value or relative to the area of the geometry.
Returns
One of the enumeration values.
Remarks
Some Geometry methods (such as FillContainsWithDetail) produce or use a polygonal approximation of the geometry. The tolerance factor specifies the maximum distance between points in this polygonal approximation. Smaller tolerance values produce better approximations, but require more processing than an approximation with a large tolerance factor.
