Outbound Whse. Handling Time Field, Sales Header Table

Specifies the outbound warehouse handling time. The program uses the outbound warehouse handling time to calculate the planned shipment date. If there is a requested delivery date for the customer, the program uses the outbound warehouse handling time to calculate the shipment date.

If you are using the multiple locations functionality, the program automatically copies the contents of this field from the Outbound Whse. Handling Time field in the Location table. If you are not using the multiple locations functionality, the program copies the contents of this field from the Outbound Whse. Handling Time field in the Inventory Setup window.

Warning

If the location uses a base calendar, then the date formula that you enter in this field is interpreted according to the calendar working days. For example, a 1W means seven working days. For more information, see the “Using Date Formulas” section in How to: Enter Dates and Times.
