InkEdit.Dispose Method
InkEdit.Dispose Method |
Releases the unmanaged resources used by the InkEdit control and optionally releases the managed resources.
Definition
Visual Basic .NET Overrides Protected Sub Dispose( _
ByVal disposing As Boolean _
)C# protected override void Dispose(
bool disposing
);Managed C++ protected: void Dispose(
bool *disposing
);
Parameters
disposing System.Boolean. Set to true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.
Remarks
This method is called by the inherited public Dispose() method and the Finalize method. The Dispose() method invokes the protected Dispose(Boolean) method with the disposing parameter set to true. The Finalize method invokes the Dispose(Boolean) method with the disposing parameter set to false.
When the disposing parameter is set to true, this method releases all resources held by any managed objects that this InkEdit object references. The frlrfmicrosoftinkinkeditclassdisposetopic (no caption;) method does this by invoking the Dispose method of each referenced object that implements IDisposable .
Note: to Inheritors The Dispose method can be called multiple times by other objects. When overriding frlrfmicrosoftinkinkeditclassdisposetopic (no caption;) , be careful not to reference objects that have been previously disposed of in an earlier call to Dispose.
