Access, connectivity, or other issues can cause pages to not appear or to appear but show incomplete data. This topic describes various possibilities and, where possible, gives solutions.
Permissions errors
Error message | Why is this happening? | Recommended actions |

You don’t have access yet Contact your IT admin for access to Microsoft Viva Insights. |
This error occurs if you do not have a role assigned for viewing the Advanced insights experience. Roles are assigned by the Viva Insights or Advanced insights admin. For details, see User roles in Viva Insights. |
To fix this, ask your admin to assign you the Analyst (Limited Access) role. To find your admin, see Who has admin permissions. |
Errors in insight generation
Error message | Why is this happening? | Recommended actions |

Insight unavailable This insight isn’t available because of a technical issue. Try again later. - or - Something went wrong Try again later. |
System errors can occur when generating the insights. | The Viva Insights team is automatically notified when system errors occur. However, if they persist, select the smiley face icon (at the top), enter your issue, and then select Send to resubmit it. For more about support, see Get support for Viva Insights. |
Data-access errors

This insight is unavailable because the required minimum number of employees is not met. | This error occurs if certain privacy thresholds are not met.
