The LinkTranslationPatterns property gets an FPCLinkTranslationPatterns collection that contains objects representing the pattern matching expressions defined for link translation in the rule.

This property is read-only.

Property value

Reference to an FPCLinkTranslationPatterns collection that contains the pattern matching expressions that are defined for link translation in the rule.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. Pattern matching expressions can be added and removed by calling the Add and Remove methods of the FPCLinkTranslationPatterns collection retrieved (the Add and Remove methods of the IFPCLinkTranslationPatterns interface retrieved in C++).

Each element in the FPCLinkTranslationPatterns collection is a string of either the form A*B or the form A. In the former case, the search pattern is , and in the latter case, the search pattern is . For example, when the pattern matching expression CURRENT FILE==*replyforwardnote is used, Forefront TMG searches for a string that starts with  and does not contain < or > in between.

Pattern matching is enabled for only some values of the LinkTranslationMode property.
