Элемент GridView управления вызывает RowEditing событие при нажатии кнопки "Изменить" (кнопка с его CommandName свойством "Изменить"), но перед GridView вводом элемента управления в режим редактирования. Это позволяет предоставить метод обработки событий, выполняющий настраиваемую подпрограмму, например отмену операции редактирования при каждом возникновении этого события.

GridViewEditEventArgs Объект передается методу обработки событий, который позволяет определить индекс редактируемой строки и указать, что операция редактирования должна быть отменена. Чтобы отменить операцию редактирования, задайте Cancel для свойства GridViewEditEventArgs объекта trueзначение .
