First of all, may I please know what type of account are you using? Are you using an Office 365 for business/education accounts (under a same business organization's subscription/tenant), Microsoft personal accounts ending with outlook.com/live.com/hotmail.com or etc.?
Would you please let others to use Teams on the web and check whether the same issue occurs there? If not, please let them try to sign out and then back into Teams client app and check whether the issue persists.
Also, according to **** Change your profile picture in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support, it may take time for your Teams profile picture settings to update across all your channels. And clearing your Teams cache may help it update quicker.
