I get error code 0x8000000d when trying to install Xbox from the Microsoft Store and when logging into Minecraft using my Microsoft account. The error appears immediately after I log in. How can I fix this issue?

I noticed that you’re using English in your posts although this is a Korean forum so I’ll continue in English, so my answer is as clear and helpful as possible. If you’d prefer me to switch to Korean just let me know and I’ll gladly do so.

    Hi @gumi

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your issue, it usually means there’s a corruption in the local cache of your Microsoft account credentials or a sync issue between the Microsoft Store and your PC’s internal licensing service.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store Cache
    • Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type wsreset.exe and hit Enter.
    • A blank Command Prompt window will open. Do not close it.
    • Wait about 10–30 seconds. The window will close automatically, and the Microsoft Store will pop open.
    1. Repair and Reset the Xbox & Store Apps
    • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
    • Search for Xbox. Click the three dots (...) and select Advanced options.
    • Click Repair. If that doesn't work, click Reset.
    • Repeat these steps for the Microsoft Store app and the Minecraft Launcher.
    • For more details, please refer to: Repair apps and programs in Windows
    1. Clear "Identity" Folders
    • Open File Explorer and paste this path into the address bar: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState
    • Look for a folder named Cache. Rename it to Cache.old.
    • Create a new, empty folder in that same spot and name it Cache.
    • Restart your computer and try logging in again.
    1. Check Vital Services
    • Type Services in your Windows search bar and open it.
    • Find the following services in the list:
    • IP Helper
    • Xbox Live Auth Manager
    • Xbox Live Networking Service
    • Gaming Services
    • For each one: Right-click > Properties. Set "Startup type" to Automatic. If the service isn't running, click Start.

Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
