BlobServiceClient.DeleteBlobContainer Method

Definition

The DeleteBlobContainer(String, BlobRequestConditions, CancellationToken) operation marks the specified blob container for deletion. The container and any blobs contained within it are later deleted during garbage collection which could take several minutes.

Parameters

blobContainerName
String

The name of the container to delete.

conditions
BlobRequestConditions

Optional BlobRequestConditions to add conditions on the deletion of this container.

cancellationToken
CancellationToken

Optional CancellationToken to propagate notifications that the operation should be cancelled.

Returns

A Response on successfully marking for deletion.

Remarks

A RequestFailedException will be thrown if a failure occurs.
