TextColumns Interface

Definition

A collection of TextColumn objects that represent all the columns of text in a document or a section of a document.

Remarks

Use the TextColumns property to return the TextColumns collection.

Use the Add(Object, Object, Object) method to add a column to the collection of columns. By default, there's one text column in the TextColumns collection.

Use the SetCount(Int32) method to arrange text into columns.

Returns a Application object that represents the Microsoft Word application.

Count

Returns the number of items in the specified collection.

Creator

Returns a 32-bit integer that indicates the application in which the specified object was created.

EvenlySpaced

True if text columns are evenly spaced. Can be True, False, or wdUndefined.

FlowDirection

Returns or sets the direction in which text flows from one text column to the next.

Item[Int32]

Returns an individual object in a collection.

LineBetween

True if vertical lines appear between all the columns in the TextColumns collection. Can be True, False, or wdUndefined.

Parent

Returns an object that represents the parent object of the specified object.

Spacing

Returns or sets the spacing (in points) between columns of a TextColumns object.

Width

Returns or sets the width of the specified object, in points.
