Ingestion error codes
This article contains error codes that may occur during data ingestion.
When you enable failed ingestion diagnostic logs on your cluster, you can see error codes in the Failed ingestion operation log.
You can use the .show ingestion failures command to present information on data ingestion management command failures, though this command excludes failures from other stages of the ingestion process. For a comprehensive view of failures across all stages, refer to ingestion metrics and diagnostic logs.
The Ingestion result metric provides information about the Category of ingestion errors, although it doesn't show the specific error codes. The errors in this article are organized by these categories.
Note
For transient errors or 'General_RetryAttemptsExceeded' error, retrying the ingestion may succeed.
