Returns the inverse sine (arcsine) of expr.

Syntax

asin(expr)

Arguments

• expr: An expression that evaluates to a numeric.

Returns

A DOUBLE.

If the argument is out of bound, NaN.

Examples

> SELECT asin(0);
 0.0

> SELECT asin(2);
 NaN
