End of support resources for Office

Using versions of Office that are no longer supported, or using Office on unsupported operating systems, might cause performance and reliability issues over time. Also, Office or the operating system might be vulnerable to security threats if security updates are no longer available.

Resources to help you upgrade Office

We recommend that you upgrade older Office clients to Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. If that's not possible, we recommend that you upgrade to Office Long Term Service Channel (LTSC) 2024, which is the most current version of Office available through volume licensing.
