BackgroundGradientType Element (RDL)

Specifies the type of background gradient.

Syntax

    <BackgroundGradientType>...</BackgroundGradientType>
    ...
</Style>

Element Characteristics

Data type and length	String
Default value	None
Cardinality	0-1: Optional element that can occur once or not at all.

Remarks

The BackgroundGradientType element contains an expression that evaluates to one of the following strings:

• None
• LeftRight
• TopBottom
• Center
• DiagonalLeft
• DiagonalRight
• HorizontalCenter
• VerticalCenter

BackgroundGradientType applies only to chart, plot area, and legend report items.

If BackgroundGradientType is omitted, the item has no background gradient.
