How to: Edit an Operator (SQL Server Management Studio)

This topic describes how to edit operators' availability for receiving notifications and their e-mail, pager, and net send addresses.

To edit an operator

1. In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine, and then expand that instance.

2. Expand SQL Server Agent.

3. Expand Operators, right-click the operator to edit, and then click Properties.
