Public Custom Event CurrentItemChanged As EventHandler

Event Type

Examples

The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the CurrentItemChanged event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing MessageBox.Show with Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.

To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of a type that inherits from BindingManagerBase, such as a PropertyManager or CurrencyManager. Then name the instance BindingManagerBase1 and ensure that the event handler is associated with the CurrentItemChanged event.

private void BindingManagerBase1_CurrentItemChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) {

   MessageBox.Show("You are in the BindingManagerBase.CurrentItemChanged event.");
}
Private Sub BindingManagerBase1_CurrentItemChanged(sender as Object, e as EventArgs) _
     Handles BindingManagerBase1.CurrentItemChanged

   MessageBox.Show("You are in the BindingManagerBase.CurrentItemChanged event.")

End Sub

Remarks

The CurrentItemChanged event occurs whenever there is a change in the state in the currently bound item. This can occur if one of the properties of this item is changed or if the item itself is replaced or moved.
