This article provides a solution to an issue where the Webpage Dialog boxes open minimized on the Timecard Entry Webpage in Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics SL.

Symptoms

When you do a Project or Task lookup on the Timecard Entry page in Business Portal for Dynamics SL, you notice that the Webpage Dialog box opens minimized.

Cause

This problem occurs because of the compatibility settings of Internet Explorer 10.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, add the Business Portal site to the Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 10. To do it, follow these steps:

  1. Browse to the Business Portal Home Webpage.
  2. On the Tools menu, select Compatibility View settings.
  3. Select Add, and then select Close.
