Microsoft Priva Consent Management (preview) allows your organization to build customizable and regulatory-independent consent models to track consumer consent across your entire data estate.
Process overview
First, set up your tracker consent models by creating your tracker categories. Optionally, create a custom layout. Then create your consent model, to which you can add or import translations. Once the model is ready to publish, mark it as complete.
If you’re creating a generic consent model, you don’t need to create tracker categories and can follow the same steps as tracker consent models.
Once your models are completed, generate a package for the specific consent model type and configure your publishing profiles.
How to access consent management
Consent management is located in the Microsoft Priva portal (preview). To access consent management:
The consent management Overview page features a set of Setup tasks that are design to help you efficiently get started with the solution. When tasks are completed by a user in your organization, the task remains listed on the page for two weeks with a Completed status next to its name.
The Create new section allows you to quickly launch into creating a consent model, a layout for a consent model, and a publishing profile. These tasks can also be completed on the Models and layout page and the Packages and publishing page.
Create tracker categories
The tracker consent models you build in consent management rely on the tracker categories you set up in Priva tracker scanning or in consent management. You might find it helpful to create your categories before you begin working on consent models.
