Exceptions

InvalidOperationException

The value of the IsReadOnly property is true and an attempt is made to set the AssertionId property.

ArgumentException

An attempt is made to set the AssertionId property to null or an empty string.

Remarks

The AssertionId property corresponds to the AssertionID attribute of the <saml:Assertion> element defined in the OASIS SAML 1.1 specification.
