Slides from my DC Web Platform Firestarter, plus a Visual Studio / IE9 Workaround
My thanks to all of the folks who came out for yesterday’s Web Platform Firestarter at our DC office yesterday. The room was packed tighter than a can of sardines, and I particularly appreciate everyone’s patience as we got the room squared away in the morning.
I promised that I would post a link to the slides I used in my presentations, and I have uploaded those decks to the MSDN Mid-Atlantic Roadshow code gallery site. Here’s the direct link for folks who just want to grab the ZIP with the decks":
Additionally, some of you might have noticed that Chris and I were encountering a known issue with Visual Studio 2010 and the Internet Explorer 9 beta, in which the first (or first few) requests to an ASP.NET application from IE9 fail. Let me know how the workaround works for you, or if you have any questions about the presentations yesterday!
