Branching Logic in SharePoint 2010 Surveys

While SharePoint 2010 provides branching logic to proceed in a survey based on specific previous responses, there is no real to provide question grouping in a situation where you want people to select multiple responses. In other words branching is disabled once you allow multiple responses.

For instance if the first question qualifies the user based on say the continent they are in as follows:

You would have to specify the branching logic appropriately for the question as depicted below:

Notice that all options are jumping to a particular question, however from hereon each question relating to each continent would have to continue branching until common questions are reached. As soon as the survey hits common questions with no branching then the uniqueness of the original branching logic is lost. From here on all questions become common to all users.
