Enterprise Library - Hands on Labs

For those of you who have been watching the web casts, thanks.  Ron has been awesome to work with and has some great hands-on labs that you should download and work through.  I have heard from several people that they are awesome at helping them get over the hurdle of how to integrate Enterprise Library into their application. You can get the hands on labs from https://www.ronjacobs.com.

Scott. First thing, the Application Blocks are awesome. We really appreciate all the hard work you and the team put into these. We're in the process of adopting and building our new/rewritten code base starting with the codebase from the Enterprise Blocks. I have a question on the SQL Storage Provider, Im not sure where to begin in order to store our Configuration Block settings in a SQL Database? We've applied the patch for the provider, but we're not sure what the next step is. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help. And again thanks for making a great product!

Hi Scott. First, let me say that I think the Enterprise Library webcasts have been great. You guys are really putting a lot of information out there. I knew Enterprise Library would take off, I had no idea it would be so huge. I'm looking for a little guidance and I think you can help. I tried the contact link on your site but it gave a mail server related error, probably because you're a busy guy. :-)

    Anyway, here's my question:
I’m looking to know whether or not it’s acceptable to create a data access layer that requires enterprise library configuration, say like looking for a database defined in the data access application block. It seems like it would be difficult to know what configuration dependencies exist, but for some reason I want to do it. Am I way off?
