Desire2Learn Learning Suite easily supports large institutions on the Microsoft platform

To demonstrate the scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency of using Desire2Learn Learning Suite with SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, Microsoft and Desire2Learn conducted a series of benchmarking tests that replicated the requirements of a large Desire2Learn customer. The tests simulated 15,000 concurrent users to represent workloads typical for large institutions with more than 200,000 users, and were run on commodity hardware to show a realistic cost of ownership.
