Coming soon - UAG Video Course!
I just finished recording a new UAG video course, which will be published by my regular publisher PACKT in about two weeks. The course is comprised of 40 lessons, 3 minutes each, covering various UAG topics including:
- Introduction to UAG and what it does
- System requirements
- What’s in the box
- Trunk types
- Installation
- Creating a repository
- Unauthenticated trunks
- The client support matrix
- UAG and mobile phones
- Domain membership considerations
- Publishing SharePoint
- Publishing Exchange OWA and Outlook Anywhere
- Publishing Lync
- Publishing non-web applications
- Publishing VPN (NC and SSTP)
- Publishing RDP
- Single Sign On
- Endpoint policies
- Application Authorization
- Arrays
- Load balancing
- Managing session parameters
- Monitoring sessions
- Backup and restore
- Ruleset and URL security
- Certified endpoints
The length of the course is 120 minutes (2 hours), which means that the topic are not covered as deeply as in the handbook, but it’s a good way to learn almost everything an administrator needs in a fraction of the time it would take read through the 461 pages of text the book offers. It’s also more suitable for those who like more of a hands-on experience, as it shows the various operations and tasks with screen-cast videos. Not convinced? Watch the trailer:
Once the course is ready and available for ordering, I’ll post the link here.

I'm afraid I don't know the status of this course, James. I've completed work on it many months ago, but I don't know when, or even IF it is going to be published. I'm sorry...
