Microsoft IT Identity and Access Management Sr. DirectorAs part of the Microsoft IT organization, the Director of Identity and Access Management provides IT leadership and operational oversight for the technologies, services and processes that enable end-to-end seamless identity and account management across Microsoft. As we move into a world of seamless access with controls that ensure Least Privilege Access to Microsoft digital assets, this position provides critical leadership in the design, integration, implementation, operations and improvement of Microsoft technologies and third party products necessary to deliver IdM service excellence that also meets all regulatory and security requirements.Job Responsibilities: IdM Service Excellence and Innovation­ Serve as the single point of contact and accountability for all IT processes and services related to Identity and Access Management at Microsoft.Leadership of the IT IdM organization with a focus on service excellence and efficacy.­Development of the IdM organization and people, with a focus on attracting and retaining key talent, clear talent planning and individual career planning for all employees.Deep understanding of the processes and technologies required for secure delivery of smart card and certificate services, IdM Operations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for IdM. Identify innovation and improvement opportunities and drive value realization within the IdM space for the business benefit of Microsoft, including:Clear roadmap and strategy for enterprise-class IdM service innovation; Successful communications and influence across Product Groups; Understanding of cross-IT organizational impacts of IdM Service levels and leadership within MSIT for IdM Service Management Define the business plans and business justifications for IdM investments according to the long range roadmap Define and deliver projects with quantifiable business benefitEnsure the vision and leadership across the company for the successful deployment of Strong User Authentication in 2007.Competencies: -Passion for and deep understanding of Microsoft’s ability to influence the market with successful IdM implementation and customer facing collateral based on how we do IdM at Microsoft; -Strong ability to effectively collaborate and communicate to the highest levels-Experience in delivering enterprise systems, tools and information technologyQualifications Should Include:-A minimum of 8-10 years plus of relevant experience using Microsoft technologies.-A BS or BA degree in technology or business-oriented technology. Advanced degree is a plus.-Strong network with product groups-Successful Completion of Background and Credit check is required for this opportunity.
