The inverse t-distribution formula calculates the t-value of the Student's t-distribution as a function of probability and degrees of freedom.
public:
double InverseTDistribution(double probability, int degreeOfFreedom);
public double InverseTDistribution (double probability, int degreeOfFreedom);
member this.InverseTDistribution : double * int -> double
Public Function InverseTDistribution (probability As Double, degreeOfFreedom As Integer) As Double
Parameters
- probability
- Double
Probability for the t-distribution. The acceptable range is between 0 and 1.
- degreeOfFreedom
- Int32
Degree of freedom.
Returns
Inverse of the t-distribution.
Examples
The following code demonstrates how to use this formula.
double result = Chart1.DataManipulator.Statistics.InverseTDistribution(.05, 15)
double result = Chart1.DataManipulator.Statistics.InverseTDistribution(.05, 15);
