Toepassingen die verificatieservices bieden, moeten het Principal-object (IPrincipal) voor een bepaalde thread kunnen vervangen. Bovendien moet het beveiligingssysteem helpen de mogelijkheid te beschermen om Principal-objecten te vervangen, omdat een kwaadwillende, onjuiste Principal de beveiliging van uw toepassing in gevaar brengt door een onware identiteit of rol te claimen. Toepassingen die de mogelijkheid nodig hebben om Principal-objecten te vervangen, moeten het System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission object voor het beheer van principalen verleend krijgen.
