Activate sales price/discount (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Setup > Price/discount > Activate price/discount.

Use this form to activate the search for sales prices and discounts.

Specific rules for these sales prices and discounts are included in trade agreements. Trade agreements can contain sales price and discount information for combinations of customers and items. You can combine the following sets of customers and items:

• A specific item, or

• A group of items, or

• All items

And

• A specific customer, or

• A group of customers, or

• All customers

Example: A trade agreement for sales prices can be created for the combination of a specific item and a specific customer.

Note

Not all combinations are valid for all trade agreement relations. A trade agreement of relation multiline discount, for example, cannot be created for a specific item.

When searching the prices and discounts in the trade agreements, the combinations are prioritized. The lowest number is the highest priority.

The combinations of rules are visited in prioritized order and the search stops only if a valid trade agreement is found without the Find next option selected.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Price	Activate trade agreement combinations for prices. These trade agreements can apply to an individual customer, a customer price group, or all customers.
Line discount	Activate trade agreement combinations for line discounts. These trade agreements can apply to an individual item or to an item line discount group. The trade agreements can also apply to all items combined with an individual customer, a customer line discount group, or all customers. For example, this could be a discount of 10 percent on a group of items to all customers in a specific business sector.
Multiline discount	Activate trade agreement combinations for multiline discounts.These trade agreements can apply to an individual item and an item multiline discount group. The trade agreements can also apply to all items combined with an individual customer, a customer multiline discount group, or all customers. For example, if a sales order exceeds a quantity of 10 on a specific group of items, the multiline discount is triggered.
Total discount	Activate trade agreement combinations for total discounts. The trade agreement combinations apply to all items on sales with an individual customer, a customer total discount group, or all customers.
