Customer payment management transactions (form)

Click Accounts receivable > Journals > Payments > Payment transactions.
Use this form to view and manage payment transactions and to view the payment step that each transaction has reached. The payment transactions were originally entered in a payment journal.
Each time a payment step is completed, the payment process automatically advances to the next step.

History on payment |
Open the History on payment form, where you can view the history of payment transactions for the customer account on the selected transaction. |

Method of payment |
The payment method for the current transaction. |
Payment step identification |
The step that the payment for the transaction has reached. |
Customer account |
The customer account that is used for the transaction. |
Document |
The identifier of the document that generated the transaction. |
Voucher |
The voucher number for the attached ledger transaction. The voucher number is determined by the voucher series that was defined in the Number sequences form. |
Date |
The date of the current transaction. |
Due date |
The date on which payment for the transaction is due. This date affects the calculation of balances, collection letters, and interest notes. |
Deadline |
The deadline for feedback from the bank about payments. |
Currency |
The currency code for the transaction. |
Amount in transaction currency |
The total amount of the transaction in the transaction currency. |
Amount |
The transaction amount in the accounting currency. |
Bank account (Batch) |
The bank account for this payment. |
Reporting batch |
The identifier of the reporting batch. |
Bank account (Customer bank accounts) |
The identifier of the customer's bank account. |
Customer account |
The customer account number. |
Exchange rate |
The currency exchange rate that applies to the transaction. The currency rate that is expressed here is the rate that is set up in the Currency exchange rates form, but you can change this rate. |
Secondary exchange rate |
The rate of the secondary part of the transaction. |
Document date |
The document date. When a customer or vendor invoice is entered, the actual date of the invoice is usually used as the posting date. Both the due date and the cash discount date are, in that case, calculated from this date. Occasionally, you might have to calculate the due date and cash discount date based on a date that differs from the posting date. |
