(IND) Tax components (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Click General ledger > Setup > Sales tax > India > Tax components.
Use this form to complete the following tasks:
Define the tax components for customs tax.
Define excise tax components, and create and update the claim percentage.
Define the tax components for India sales tax.
Define service tax components.
Define the tax components for value-added tax (VAT).
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Select the type of tax to create tax components for. |

Claim percentage |
Open the Claim percentage form, where you can generate the excise claims for specific periods, for capital and non-capital purchases. Notitie This button is available only if you selected the Excise tax type. |
Tax setoff rule |
Open the Tax setoff rule form, where you can create or update the tax setoff rule for the tax components. |

Enter the name of the tax component for the selected tax type. |

Enter the description of the tax component for the selected tax type. |
Apply excise |
Select this check box to update the transactions that have been posted for the tax component in the excise registers. Notitie This check box is available only if you selected the Customs tax type. |
