(LVA) Natural resources tax report setup (form)

Click General ledger > Setup > Sales tax > Natural resources tax report setup.

Use this form to set up the reports that Latvian organizations can use to report taxes on natural resources and packing materials. Microsoft Dynamics AX supports Form 2 and Form 3 tax statements.

You can set up the structure of each form by creating a sequence of lines that contain the tax values to report. Setting up the report is similar to creating rows for a table in a document. When you generate the report, each row is displayed as a line, according to the sequence number that you specify for the line.

Example of a setup for Form 3

The following table shows an example of the fields and values in a report setup for Form 3. For more information about each field, see the “Fields” table in this topic.

The report in this example is set up to display the following:

• A heading that introduces the content of the report

• Lines that display the descriptions and individual values to report

• The total amounts for the line values

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
General	View or modify the taxes on natural resources and packing materials.
Setup	View or modify settings that control the information that is displayed on each line on the report.

Fields

Field	Description
Form number	The form that is used to report tax on natural resources. The following forms are supported by Microsoft Dynamics AX: Form 2 – Report the tax amounts for the use of natural resources and any environmental pollution that was generated during the reporting period. Form 3 – Report the tax amounts for goods that were imported or produced by the organization and sold in Latvia for the first time.
Sequence number	The number that specifies the position of the line in the sequence of lines on the report.
Line type	The type of the line on the report. The options are as follows: Header – Use this option to create section headings on the report. Line – Use this option to map a line on the report to the calculations that are made, based on the transactions that are included on the report. Total – Use this option to specify the total amount for a group of lines. If you select this type of line, you must specify a code in the Total line code field.
Line code	The identifier for the natural resources tax report line.
Description	The description of the transaction.
Total line code	The identifier for the line that contains the total tax amount for a group of lines.
Warehouse	The identifier for the warehouse that is billed for the natural resource or packing materials. This field is available only if you select Line in the Line type field.
Sales tax code	The sales tax code that is used to calculate tax on natural resources. If you select a sales tax code, the Packing material code field is not available.
Packing material code	The identifier for the packing material to calculate tax on natural resources for. If you select a packing material code, the Sales tax code field is not available.
