Master scheduling (class form)

Click Master planning > Periodic > Master scheduling.
Use this form to calculate the requirements for the master schedule. You can also use the form to generate planned orders for a selected item.

Scheduling helpers |
Enter parameters to set up scheduling helpers. Scheduling helpers perform parallel processing in master scheduling. |
Comment |
Enter brief, descriptive text of the scheduling run. The text that you enter is also displayed on the General tab of the Session log form. |

Select the master plan that you want to use in the calculation. |
Principle |
Select the master scheduling method to use. The following options are available:

Track process task duration |
Select this check box to record the processing time for each task for master planning. You can use the records to analyze the efficiency of the planning process and adjust the scheduling helper parameters. Note Use of this option affects the performance of master scheduling. Therefore, use this option only to fine-tune the planning process. |
Item number |
The range of item numbers that master scheduling is affecting. |
Number of helpers |
Enter the maximum number of scheduling helpers that you want to use. The actual number of helpers that is used depends on the number of available batch threads among the batch servers. |
Comment |
Enter a description of the current master scheduling run. |
