Planned orders (form)

Click Master planning > Common > Planned orders. Select a planned order. On the Action pane, click Edit.
Use this form to view and process planned purchase, transfer, and production orders. Planned orders are generated by master scheduling or forecast scheduling to cover requirements. You can also create them manually in the Planned orders form and clicking the Planned order button.
From the form, you can firm planned orders, change their status, view requirements in multiple levels, and more. If the selected line is a planned production order, you can view the related BOM, route, jobs, and capacity reservations, and you can also reschedule the order.

Supply forecast |
When this check box is selected, the planned order was generated based on a purchase |
Site |
The identification of the site. |
Item group |
The item group that the planned item belongs to. For more information, see Item group (form) |
Buyer group |
The buyer group for the planned order. This information is retrieved first from the supplier and then from the item. When you create a planned order manually, the buyer group is always retrieved from the item. |
Vendor group |
The vendor group that the assigned vendor belongs to. |
Requirement date |
The requirement date for the transaction that includes any safety margin. This could be the delivery date for a sales order, the planned ending date for a production order, or the forecast date for a forecast line, for example. |
Delivery date |
The order delivery date. |
Time |
The time that the item is required. |
Start date |
The scheduled date for the start of the transfer. |
End date |
The scheduled date for the end of the transfer. |
Order date |
The latest starting or ordering date. |
Time of order |
The scheduled start time. |
Status |
The processing status for the planned order. The options are as follows:

The requested date for the transaction. |
Req. quantity |
The planned order quantity. The planned order quantity can differ from the required quantity if, for example, the item has a minimum order quantity. |
Settled quantity |
The quantity that was actually processed on the planned order. |
Qty. change |
The suggested quantity of the item by which the transaction should be increased or decreased based on the action message. |

Delivery date |
The date when the order is delivered. |
Requested purchase number |
Enter the purchase order number to use when firming the planned order. The number must exist in advance. Also, the supplier must be the same as that on the planned order. |
Req. quantity |
The total requirement quantity for the transaction in inventory units. |
Purchase quantity |
The number of units to purchase. |
Purchase unit |
Select the unit that the item is purchased in. This may differ from the inventory unit, which is shown in the Unit field. |
Vendor |
The primary vendor for the planned purchase order. You can view additional information about vendors, trade agreements, and external item descriptions. |
Delivery date |
The order delivery date. |
Requested transfer order |
The transfer order to use when firming the planned order. |
Req. quantity |
The total requirement quantity for the transaction in inventory units. |
Delivery date |
The order delivery date. |
Time |
The time that the item is required. |
Req. quantity |
The total requirement quantity for the transaction in inventory units. |
BOM number |
The BOM that is used. |
Route number |
The route number that is used. |
