Whoami (Command Line)
Shows your current Visual SourceSafe user name. This command is available only from the command line. For definitions of the command options, see Command Options in this Help system.
Note
For the Whoami command to work, you must set the SSDIR environment variable. See Setting Database Options.
Syntax
ss Whoami [-H] [-I-] [-Y] [-?]
Project Rights
Any Visual SourceSafe user can use this command.
Remarks
In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, the user name information is available in the status bar.
