How to: Access Process Guidance in the Project Portal
The team project portal is the central location for viewing the status of the team project and accessing the critical documents for performing your assigned tasks. The process guidance documents explain the complete software development life cycle that the team is to follow. The process guidance documents also may explain the various Web Parts that appear on the project portal for each team project.
You can access the process guidance through either the Quick Launch navigation pane or through the list of team project documents.
Contact your Team Foundation Server administrator or your team project administrator to make sure that your user account has the permissions described in the following section.
Required Permissions
To perform these procedures you must be a member of the Team Foundation Valid Users security group. If the necessary security permissions are set explicitly, you must have the View project-level information permission on the team project set to Allow. You must also be a member of the Windows SharePoint Services Reader security group. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
