POP3 and IMAP4 Issues

You can configure your Exchange environment so that Microsoft Exchange users can connect to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 by using the Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) or Internet Message Access Protocol version 4rev1 (IMAP4) protocols. The following topics will help you troubleshoot specific problems with POP3 and IMAP4:

• POP3 and IMAP4 May Not Work as Expected After You Upgrade to Exchange Server 2007 SP1 or a later version

• Administrator Cannot Connect to the Administrator Mailbox Using POP3 or IMAP4

• Duplicate Read Receipts Are Sent When Using POP3 or IMAP4

• Verify that Your Exchange Environment is Configured to Support POP3 and IMAP4

• The Exchange POP3 Service or the Exchange Transport Service Does Not Restart
