DtsConnectionAttribute.UITypeName Property

Specifies the qualified name of the assembly that implements the user interface of the connection manager.

Property Value

The type name of the user interface of the connection manager object.

This optional property specifies the user interface that is displayed when the connection manager is edited in Business Intelligence Development Studio.

The format of the property is a comma-delimited string that contains the following elements:

  • Type name

  • Assembly name

  • File version

  • Culture

  • Public key token

  • The type name specified in this property implements the IDtsConnectionManagerUI interface.

You find the values of the Culture and PublicKeyToken parameters by examining the properties of the user interface assembly in the global assembly cache (GAC).

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
