Use the Property class to retrieve or modify both custom and built-in properties of an item.
A Property object is returned as output by the GetProperties and GetSystemProperties methods and is passed as input to the CreateDataSource, CreateItem(String, String, String, Boolean, Byte, Property, Warning), GetProperties, GetSystemProperties, SetProperties, and SetSystemProperties methods.
