Save a Shortcut Query File (MDS Add-in for Excel)

In the Master Data Services Add-in for Excel, save a shortcut query file when you frequently need to access the same set of data.

Prerequisites

To perform this procedure:

To save a shortcut query file

  1. In the Save and Send group, click the arrow under Save Query and click Save as Query.

  2. Optional. To rename the query, click the arrow under Save Query and click Manage Queries. Select the query and click Rename.
