Minute Function
Returns an Integer value from 0 through 59 that represents the minute of the hour.
Public Function Minute(ByVal TimeValue As DateTime) As Integer
Parameters
- TimeValue
Required. Date value from which you want to extract the minute.
Remarks
You can also obtain the minute of the hour by calling DatePart and specifying DateInterval.Minute for the Interval argument.
Example
This example uses the Minute function to obtain the minute of the hour from a specified time. In the development environment, the time literal is displayed in short time format using the locale settings of your code.
Dim thisTime As Date
Dim thisMinute As Integer
thisTime = #4:35:17 PM#
thisMinute = Minute(thisTime)
' thisMinute now contains 35.
