Memsnap Syntax

MemSnap Syntax

MemSnap uses the following syntax:

Art Imagememsnap [/m] [/p] [/a] [/ah] logfile [/?]

Parameters

  • /m logfile
    This parameter displays a snapshot of process information in the form of a log file. The default file name for the log file is memsnap.log in the current directory. If the file does not exist, it is created; if the file exists, the information is appended to it.
  • /p logfile
    This parameter displays a snapshot kernel pool memory information. If the file does not exist, it is created; if the file exists, the information is appended to it.
  • /a logfile
    This parameter analyzes a logfile for leaks and prints the output on the screen. The logfile to analyze is required with this parameter.
  • /ah
    Same as '/a' but generates HTML tables.
  • /?
    Displays command-line help.
